Halloween!

I love Halloween! We had amazing weather this year, which makes it all the more fun.  We started off with pumpkin carving (one of my favorites things about halloween). I’m one of those crazy people who dress up their dog (and pretends that he likes it), this year we went full on lion. He was pretty hilarious in his get-up,  the trick-or-treaters really got a kick out of him 😉

I re-used an old costume for my office dress up, and Ben and went as Al & Peggy Bundy. Everyone got a kick of out the classic 90’s reference!

 

 

 

Flowerchildfall Day 3: Lets be honest

Is there anything in life better than that time in September when the leaves start to turn?
Me thinks not. I enjoyed a lovely walk this evening in the crisp Fall weather and appreciated the beautiful colors that are staring to show.

May Long Weekend

Our first camping trip of the year a few weekends ago was a total success!  We had a rain or shine (or snow??) plan for the weekend, since up until a week before we were still getting cold weather and short snowfalls (crazy right?!), we were going camping no matter what!  May Long weekend has always been sort of a toss up as far as weather goes, it can be awesome, it can be cold, it can be rainy, anything is possible; but we were determined to go regardless.  As it turns out, we were spoiled with some gorgeous Spring weather and warm temperatures mixed with just a manageable amount of rainfall, perfect!  We got lots of riding in, the boys enjoyed getting super muddy in the big bog holes, and I did my best to keep up with the group. I did pretty well, only getting myself stuck a couple of times 🙂

The handsome boy got in some nice swims over the weekend. He just LOVES water!
